so far....

Well my second post of 2011. How exciting! well...sorta. I know I can get back into the swing of things if I keep moving forward.
Let's take a look at my life:
Work: so, so. I enjoy my co-workers, I like my boss, what I do...not so much. The people make it fun for me.
Social: I don't have many girlfriends. I don't know why either. I suppose because all of my time is divided between my two boys and my boyfriend. I would like to have my girl time.
Relationship: Clint is a wonderful man. Our relationship is a long distance one (hour apart) but we do enjoy our time together and always look forward to seeing each other. I want to see us grow.
Child Rearing: This is the toughest area of my life but also the most important one. Teenagers are very very very difficult. I strive to improve in this area every day. I love my two boys. I always say "One is my heart the other is my soul" :)
Things I want to do more of:
Exercise, outdoors stuff, home decor, girlfriend time, visiting my parents, blogging.

Okay, okay...I know this stuff is totally boring but this is where have to start. I will get better as I go along. For now, this is my way of sorting out my life and thinking ahead. I hope to do that in a more entertaining way soon. :)

Big Fat Loser

Okay, I know I suck. I haven't written hardly anything in weeks. My adoring fans (all 3) have probably deserted me by now. Well..... I'm back! It finally stopped raining so I can come out and play. The depression has lifted (almost) and I am feeling better. Thanks for the kind comments. I do have some good news. I have lost 6 1/2 pounds in a week and half! Yay !!! Shout it from the rooftops! Friday Night Madness

The rain was pouring out of the sky like a giant pitcher of water being poured into a shot glass. Roads were flooded and the little island just below the water fall had disappeared from sight. Tornadoes had been spotted earlier and the weather service warned against being out on the road due to power lines down and low visibility . This was the scene when I discovered my teenager had snuck out in the car. My 16 year old son had asked if he and a friend could go somewhere in the car. I said no and explained the weather situation to him. He had a friend over whose parents had given him the same warning. Stay put they were told. The rain had let up and they asked if they could walk over to another friend's house who lived in the neighborhood. I said that was okay... just do not take a car. They took the car. T'was the Day before Christmas

It was the night (actually day) before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring to help mama clean, not even a mouse The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that someone who would help clean would soon be there The teenagers were nestled all snug in their beds while mama cooked, cleaned and slaved needing her meds And mama in her "kerchief" (WTF?) and dirty dishes in the sink I hoped for a miracle or at least a stiff drink!
