It's Monday

So why do I have to go to work and my kids get to lay in bed? I thought that was totally unfair so to correct the situation I have left each of them a chore list. Ha!

And to further my cause, I have posted signs all over my house, in pink paper no less!

Boy is he going to be in for a surprise when he wakes up!

Those look great. I especially like the toilet bowl note. I think that would definitely make me wanna improve my aim. :-)

Big Fat Loser

Okay, I know I suck. I haven't written hardly anything in weeks. My adoring fans (all 3) have probably deserted me by now. Well..... I'm back! It finally stopped raining so I can come out and play. Friday Night Madness

The rain was pouring out of the sky like a giant pitcher of water being poured into a shot glass. Roads were flooded and the little island just below the water fall had disappeared from sight. Tornadoes had been spotted earlier and the weather service warned against being out on the road due to power lines down and low visibility . This was the scene when I discovered my teenager had snuck out in the car. My 16 year old son had asked if he and a friend could go somewhere in the car. I said no and explained the weather situation to him. He had a friend over whose parents had given him the same warning. Stay put they were told. T'was the Day before Christmas

It was the night (actually day) before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring to help mama clean, not even a mouse The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that someone who would help clean would soon be there The teenagers were nestled all snug in their beds while mama cooked, cleaned and slaved needing her meds And mama in her "kerchief" (WTF?) and dirty dishes in the sink I hoped for a miracle or at least a stiff drink!
