Big Fat Loser

Okay, I know I suck. I haven't written hardly anything in weeks. My adoring fans (all 3) have probably deserted me by now. Well..... I'm back! It finally stopped raining so I can come out and play. The depression has lifted (almost) and I am feeling better. Thanks for the kind comments. I do have some good news. I have lost 6 1/2 pounds in a week and half! Yay !!! Shout it from the rooftops! I am. Really, I stood on my roof and shouted; "I lost 6 1/2 pounds!" Shortly after that some little men in white coats showed up at my house and tried to carry me away.... No really, I am excited about the weight loss. My secret? There's not one. I started counting calories and doing a little (and I do mean a little) bit of walking on the treadmill and of course the Wii -Fit! Friday Night Madness

The rain was pouring out of the sky like a giant pitcher of water being poured into a shot glass. Roads were flooded and the little island just below the water fall had disappeared from sight. Tornadoes had been spotted earlier and the weather service warned against being out on the road due to power lines down and low visibility . This was the scene when I discovered my teenager had snuck out in the car. My 16 year old son had asked if he and a friend could go somewhere in the car. I said no and explained the weather situation to him. He had a friend over whose parents had given him the same warning. Stay put they were told. The rain had let up and they asked if they could walk over to another friend's house who lived in the neighborhood. I said that was okay... just do not take a car. They took the car.
